Description
Description
This custom Ulu set by bladesmith Arik Miller is a striking fusion of frontier heritage and contemporary craft. The Ulu blade is hand-forged from 15N20 and 1084 carbon steels in a random and plug weld damascus pattern, delivering both functional performance and visual complexity.
A handle of naturally shed elk antler is accented with a bronze bolster and bronze pins, creating an earthy, elegant contrast to the flowing damascus lines of the blade. The knife is seated in a matching block with a sculpted bronze attachment plate, designed to honor the form and function of traditional Ulu knives while elevating it to a display-worthy centerpiece.
Every detail — from the plug-welded joinery to the balance in the hand — reflects Miller’s signature precision and commitment to materials that tell a story.
Ideal for collectors, serious chefs, or anyone who believes the tools we use should be as beautiful as the meals they help create.
