Alpine Tarn is part of a small Maker's Mark batch - a limited run of Teton Edge Santokus finished with a blue-green handle, named for the small glacial lakes that pool at elevation. Every piece carries its own pattern of mottling; no two resolve the same way. Once this batch is gone, it's gone.
One knife maker fits the handle, hand-finishes the choil and spine, and sharpens the blade before it ever leaves Victor, Idaho.
