About Stephanie Izard

Stephanie Izard is the James Beard Award–winning Executive Chef and Owner of the acclaimed Girl & the Goat restaurants in Chicago and Los Angeles, along with Little Goat Diner, Duck Duck Goat, Cabra, Valley Goat, and Lucky Goat. She was the first woman to win Bravo’s Top Chef and earned the title of Iron Chef in 2017.

Izard’s restaurants have been praised by The New York Times, Food & Wine, and Saveur, and she’s a regular on shows like Tournament of Champions, Guy’s Grocery Games, Hell’s Kitchen, and more. In 2023, she launched The Curious Chef with Tastemade, where she explores home cooks’ time-honored recipes.
