December 15, 2020
2020 has been a challenging year without question. In St. Helena, California, the community has rallied together to put forth some festive local spirit to brighten the holidays.
According to our St. Helena Retail Store Manager, Dascia Skadal, "The town of St. Helena put together this cute marketing and community spirit campaign using wine barrels. It started earlier with Easter 2020 when the kiddos had no egg hunts to go to. Local businesses and individuals painted barrels to look like Easter eggs for families to go on drive-by Easter egg hunts. With restrictions at an all time high during the holidays, the painted barrels are a way to participate in the community, bring people together without actually gathering."
Here are some photos of the festive barrels in St. Helena, including our New West KnifeWorks themed barrel as seen outside our store.
Wishing you a bright, happy, and healthy holiday season from all of us at New West KnifeWorks.
