Limited Edition: Elk Antler 9" Chef
Limited Edition: Elk Antler 9" Chef
Old West tradition meets New West innovation. New West knifemakers have crafted just 39 of these knives, with each one engraved with its production number. Combining the versatility and power of the 9” Chef, the rich tradition of an elk antler handle, and the functional elegance of our Teton Edge — this may just be our most unapologetically Western blade to date.

Western Workhorse
Called by the Editor-in-Chief of Food and Wine Magazine his "best friend in the kitchen", the New West take on the 9” chef knife is built using particle metallurgy that results in a tool that is ultra sharp, yet durable. Its hand-finished grip and hidden tang balanced with a manageable weight means you can knock out prep work in record time while minimizing hand fatigue.
The proprietary etch does more than add a striking visual homage of the iconically western Teton Mountain Range to the blade. It also turns this limited release into a slicing and dicing powerhouse, functioning similarly as a Santoku’s “dimples” that contribute to smooth, stick-free slicing.
An Ode to Tradition
Prized for its natural beauty, strength, and durability, antler has been a highly regarded material in knife making around the globe for millenia, with numerous artifacts dating back as early as 12,000 BC. Our contemporary approach to this tradition utilizes sustainably-sourced Rocky Mountain Elk antler sheds, making each of these handles as unique as its wild animal counterpart.
Lifetime Guarantee
As is the case with all of our knives, this limited edition masterpiece comes with a lifetime satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you are not happy with your knife’s performance or appearance, it may be returned for store credit.
