Fixed Blade Hunter from Gary Rodewald
Handle Material: Koa Wood
A message from the maker:
"In the Fall of 1994, after having settled my family in western Montana, I started making knives. I learned grinding from Ed Mortenson. I enjoy forging carbon and Damascus "pattern welded" blades, mostly hunters, traditional Bowies and camp knives. I have studied under Rick Dunkerley to learn linerlock folders and am involved in some designs which hopefully will be unique to me. I make about 20 stainless steel field grade hunters a year. I am a bladesmith for the absolute joy of it and my hope is that the knife brings as much pleasure to the owner as I've had creating it."
