In our continueing efforts to build a sustainible green business, New West Knifeworks has partnered with a company who's primary business is sustainible forestery on Costa Rica. Over 20 years ago, our partners began buying up degraded cattle ranchs that had slashed and burned primary rain forest to provide grazing for cattle. The land has been reclaimed and replanted to restore it to it's natural state. Tropical hardwoods are selectively harvested to maintain forest health and sustain the business.
