New West KnifeWorks (NWKW) is America’s premier boutique cutlery manufacturer.   NWKW is a mature business with a strong brand, tight business operations, and great margins and profitability.  We make world class, unique, high performance products.  In 2018, we will open our third store and move into a state-of-the-art 12,000 sq/ft manufacturing facility.  We know that employees are the secret to our success.  We hire rockstars, evaluate them based on results, compensate them well and treat them with the respect they deserve. NWKW is on a steep growth curve and we are looking for people who want to join the adventure.

Most brands need to make up stories to add value to their brand. In contrast, NWKW has amazing countless stories that have never been told.  We are the only manufacturer of high end cutlery in the USA. We make unique products that are not available anywhere in the world.  We make knives for rockstar chefs and have countless “foodventures”.   At the Mountain Man Toy Shop, we are throwing tomahawks with stars like Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson and have lots of adventures in Jackson Hole.

We are seeking a creative and visionary professional who can deliver a cohesive story of NWKW’s brand across all business operations and manage ecommerce through steep growth.


Brand Manager

The Brand Manager is our storyteller and will oversee the NWKW story and voice across all channels and media. This person will be spearheading all creative efforts and their follow through.  All copy, artwork, and visual presentation will be approved, managed, and delivered by the Brand Manager.  They will provide leadership, vision and strategy, as well as conceptual and executional excellence throughout NWKW, empowering the whole company to participate in copywriting, testimonials, content ideas, and the like. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing, a powerful wit, and the willingness to learn about NWKW, especially its history, culture, customers, its unique place in the market and its many unique products. They will be a big idea thinker and inspirational leader, and a highly skilled crafter of words. with strong visual design skills.

Essential Job Functions:

·   Manage all Brand and Category Writing and editing.

·   Ensure that copy is clear, accurate, and intelligent, reflecting NWKW brand.

·   Partner with Advertising/PR director for press releases and press/media communication and AD copy, design, and layout

·   Create persuasive messages and compelling stories that inform, entertain, inspire, and engage while also generating brand loyalty in consumers.

·   Ensure that a strong, recognizable and relevant voice for the brand is communicated and executed across all marketing touch points.


NWKW E-commerce Manager

Manager will be responsible for all management of the NWKW E-commerce business.  Manager will update and maintain NWKW.com to tell a strong and compelling branding story of NWKW visually, and in copy, design and navigation.  While building brand awareness and loyalty, the site must be constantly driving the customer towards a completed sale with more dollars spent and an easy user experience.  The manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of NWKW.com.  Manager will work collaboratively with fulfillment manager to insure that accurate inventory levels are maintained and products are delivered quickly with optimal communication from NWKW.  E-commerce manager will partner with PR/advertising director to advertise and market NWKW.com.  Manager will be the squeaky wheel that ensures that NWKW retail stores are making a maximum effort to collect customer emails at the point of sale.  Manager will oversee and execute NWKW email marketing campaign.  They will develop a new email format and strategy that adds a branding and storytelling component to the already successful sales component.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Update the website with current inventories and new products.

  • Set up homepage and product pages to reflect current sales, events, etc.

  • Understand the flow of the website connecting copy pages, to product pages and the like.

  • Creating a sales calendar to be delivered companywide.
