Starting in 2009 New West KnifeWorks moved production of the Fusionwood knives to Seki, Japan. Demand for the Fusionwood knives has out paced our ability to produce them in our small shop in Jackson Hole. By moving the production of the handles for the fusionwood knives to our longtime partners in Seki, Japan, we can maintain or even improve on the high quality of the knives we produce. Also, it has freed up the shop in Jackson Hole to work on developing new knives and focus on making more hand forged one of a kinders. Stay tuned in 2010 for some amazing new stuff!
